Outdoors
Today we spent alot of time outdoors, running around the yard, meeting the barn cats, chewing on things puppies probably shouldn't be chewing on. We left the pups for a few hours this evening, and when we got home, WOW, they wanted to play! They were so excited to see us, we stayed up a bit later than we should have to play with them. Hopefully they will sleep in a bit in the morning. Had visitors today, and expecting more tomorrow. Lots of new people to lick and nibble on. Hope to get more pics up tomorrow night.

Pictures
My daughter spared a couple minutes tonight to help me with some stacked photos. At 4 weeks and 5 days these guys are a bit young to start stacking, but it will give a bit of idea of how they will look. Keep in mind these were very hasty. Sally did not cooperate, will try to get one of her soon.
Show puppies
There are still several very nice puppies available to show homes. Contact me at branspot@netins.net
Lizzy and Mater
Puppy, puppy everywhere!
The pups will be 5 weeks on Tuesday. They are busy exploring their surroundings. 9 bodies are alot to keep track of when they are wandering from room to room. They have lots of toys, pop cans, empty boxes, paper towel rolls, etc to entertain them. As soon as someone sits down, the puppies pile into their laps. Lots of puppy kisses. They are also seeing the housecats (from the distance, mostly) and my daughter's Australian Shepherd, Kix. Kix is a hairy body, but they still check to see if he has milk like mama. At 5 months old, he is very patient with the babies.

Nap time
Play time's over. 5 found their way back to the small crate in their pen, 3 curled up behind the hamper, and only Mack was left searching for a playmate. What good babies!
Puppy stay home day
Stayed home with a bad head cold/sore throat today. Pups were fed at 6:30 am as usual, then I went back to bed. Just moved them out of my bedroom last night. Set up an exercise pen for them on my front porch. Right now they are going from there to the dining area to where I am at the edge of my living room. Mater has learned how much fun it is to roll an empty pop can. Ramone had no problem finding the puppy food soaking on the kitchen counter (he tried to climb the counter to get to it!) So far the babies go back to the papers in their pen to potty. Only one mess to clean up since they've been out. I also had them outside for a few minutes, but decided that I needed help supervising them so that they didn't ingest any plants that weren't good for their little tummies. What is safe at 7-8 weeks may be bad at this age. I will put up a few pics I took last night. More coming later. Alot of work taking care of 9 puppies, and of course playing with them! They will be leaving all too soon, so my housework and yardwork have been ignored. Will have to find a bit of time to tidy up this weekend for visitors. Let me know if you would like to come play with them. This weekend is fairly open.

Anyone out there?
So, is anyone waiting for new pictures of the pups? I hope to take them tomorrow night, and get them uploaded. The babies are growing fast. Mater is about twice the size of the others. They are fun to watch play with each other. All seem to enjoy being held and cuddled. Spotting is nice.
