Quiet house

Rich is the only pup left. Judy came from Indiana and took Big and Sugar home with her to meet their new families. Big will be showing in conformation, Sugar in conformation, obedience AND agility. Zac went home with Beth, after visiting an agility trial. He will also be doing breed, obedience, and agility. Bomshel went with Roger, Libby and Allen to meet her big brother Tiger.

7 weeks

Pups are 7 weeks old today. What a busy week! We traveled to Rochester, MN for hearing tests and big sister Hottie's dog show on Saturday. Hottie did well at the show, won a point AND won the Bred By Exhibitor Non-sporting group. Puppies were handled and evaluated by fellow show people.
Kevin, Rhonda, and Kami came to visit from Wisconsin, and left with sweet Rascal.
Today puppies went to my collie friend's house again. This time there was another litter visiting, so there were 11 collie pups!

We played outside, then came in to hang out while I did a few things indoors. Pups got bored while I was on the computer. This is the view from my chair:

Busy day

The pups went for 3 car rides today. The first to my Dad's, where they ran around and explored the back yard. Then we went to my friend Jeanie's house, where they were able to play with 5 six week old collie pups-tri, sables, and white. Some smooths and some rough. Jeanie also had 6 kittens that were curious about all the dogs. Wish I'd remembered my camera! Hopefully Jeanie will send me a few that I can post.

The following stacked photos were also taken by Sheryl McCormick on Friday. The liver boys were not cooperating, they wanted to run and play. Just some quick shots to give an idea of body type and spotting.

So Sorry!

I know many of you are checking here daily, sorry there hasn't been anything new. I've been so busy playing with the puppies (and cleaning up after them), I haven't had time to post.

These pics are from earlier this week. New pictures and STACKED shots were taken today by friend Sheryl McCormick. She hopes to get them uploaded this weekend and send me a link that I will post here. You will not be disappointed! Sheryl is an excellent photographer, and got some great action shots as well as stills.

Rich and Rascal went with me last night to visit some friends. They traveled well, and enjoyed be part of "pass the puppy".
