Growing fast!

Sorry no new pictures, yet. Pups are keeping me so busy. Had visitors Sat. and Sun. to play with them. Sat was their first day outside due to the rainy weather we had last week. They are enjoying broadening their world.

I hope to take and post new pictures tonight.

Bomshel's eyes are definitely blue-beautiful! Zac has at least one blue eye, and maybe a partial on the other side. The other pups have brown eyes.

Busy evening here. Puppies kept going from me to Beth and back again. Very interested in climbing on us, chewing on us, and being held.

Pups aren't quite 4 weeks old until Wed. I had help tonight taking photos, thanks Beth. Hopefully Beth will be getting a puppy that can do it all-obedience, agility AND conformation.

Reebok was Best in Sweeps at the Twin Cities specialty, and Hottie was Reserve Winner's Bitch at the Sat show. Toby and I continue to improve in agility.

No rest for the weary!

Been a busy week here. I was off to Greeley, CO for 2 Dalmatian specialties. Reebok won both sweepstakes, and also was Reserve Winner's Bitch at one of them. Hottie won one of her sweeps classes and one Open Liver class.

The pups are really changing. Spots are showing, they are crawling about and exploring. And they all hear!

I'm heading off to Minn. this weekend for 3 days of shows, including a specialty, AND 3 agility trials!

Not much time for pictures and blogging. Hannah will be caring for Aruba and the babies while I am gone.

Pups are getting more steady on their legs, and exploring the whelping box. They still are mainly interested in finding Aruba and getting a snack. Eyes are nearly all open. It's a whole new world out here. They are getting to experience different surfaces-carpet, tile, vinyl, hardwood floors; but mainly just warm laps!

New Champion!

Great news! Big sister Pauli finished her championship today! She is an Aruba puppy, sired by Argus, born last year. She has had a whirlwind show career with 3 specialty wins, 2 specialty reserves, multiple sweepstakes wins, and 2 other major wins. Shown by Jess MacMillan, we hope to see more of Pauli in the breed ring. Pauli and Hottie's sire, Argus, won AOM's at both Western Reserve specialties this weekend. Hottie will get her chance next weekend in Greeley, CO.

The puppies are doing great. They are starting to get up on their feet and take a few hurried steps before crashing and rolling in the whelping box. Seems like they are always in a hurry to find mom and milk, but their tummies are sure round! Their spots are showing on their tummies, and starting to show thru their fur. Eyes are beginning to open on a couple pups.

New Litter!

Oh my, I am a week behind already. Aruba had her babies on July 29th, 2009. The clueless father is Tommy, Ch Signature's Told You So. 6 babies, 2 females and 4 males. Half are liver, half are black. All are doing great.
